The experience

This 6-hour workshop is perfect for anyone who has always wanted to make a mosaic. You will learn the design principles of mosaic, how to cut tiles, assemble them on a sticky film, transfer them onto your base, cement and grout them. In the first half of the day (10:30-2:30) you will design your mosaic, assemble the tiles, and transfer them onto your paver base or wooden tray. Then we will break for lunch while the mortar sets (2:30-3:30) -- bring a bagged lunch and enjoy it by the pond or at the picnic table. Finally, you will grout your mosaic (3:30-4:30) and take it home the same day. If you have already created your own tiles during our "Make Your Own Tiles" workshop, please choose the "Bring Your Own Tile" option at checkout.
